Lucia La Rezza is a virtuoso acoustic/electric violinist, video game composer, multi-instrumentalist, and entrepreneur based in London.

Thanks to her unique genre-crossing style, her violin can be heard on numerous Video Game Soundtracks, Songwriter’s Albums, Metal Bands Albums, Cartoons, and more. Lucia recently completed recording for Intermundia (2023), Shadows over Loathing (2022), Nevermore (2022), and Realms of Magic (2022).

2015-Present, Lucia tours as a solo violinist. She performed in European events such as German Epic-Con, Lausanne Japan Impact, Romics, Festa dell’Unicorno, Liverpool Anime and Games Con, and more. In 2022 she performed with the Grammy Awarded artist KOFFEE. In 2022 and 2019 Lucia performed at Edinburgh Fringe Festival with the film composers Intermundia, performing in sold-out venues. From 2016 to 2018 she performed with a band and as a soloist at Lucca Comics and Games, the largest comics festival in Europe, and the second biggest in the world after the Comiket.

Lucia began her journey as a video game composer in 2020, composing her first original EP “Busker Quest” (released in 2021). In 2021 composed original music for the game “Origins of Merlin: Muscles and Magic” by Reef Entertainment.

Lucia has also recorded on hundreds of commercial albums with artists such as Craig Cardiff, Jayden Villarreal, Kevin Julien, DJ-V, Red Sky Future Music, Melting Dreams, Mia Stegner, Ele Soundtracks, Dean Hart, Dream Life Beats, and more.

The musician has amassed over 1,5 million views on YouTube and has a social reach of over 20K across her channels. A self-managed artist, Lucia is passionate about marketing, financial planning, and self-actualization. She also directs, produces, and edits most of her own music videos, and offers career consultations to other creatives, encompassing sustainable career growth, branding, stage performance, and today’s gaming business mood.

Lucia’s engagements with orchestras include the Orchestra Giovanile di Roma, Italy, the Paisiello Institute Orchestra in Taranto, Italy, and the GOS (“Giovane Orchestra Sonora”, Lucca, Italy).

Lucia’s musical education began at the age of 7 when she started her violin studies in Livorno, Italy, with Renata Sfriso, specializing in Orchestra Repertoire with Paolo Tommasi. After going to Taranto at the age of 14, she began to self-teach bass guitar. She later began studying the piano at the Paisiello Institute in Taranto. In 2015 she graduated with excellence in violin performance studying with Giuditta Longo. Lucia continued her professional violin studies with Carmelo Andriani at the University of Bari’s Piccinni Conservatoire. In 2019 she moved to London and started her new journey as a video game music composer.

Lucia performs on her “Guarnieri del Gesu” model made in Florence, Italy, in 2006, by Claudio Arezio. On electric violin, she performs on Yamaha SV250 and Stagg. She also plays a Bass Guitar made in Edinburgh, Scotland.
